I have ben a classic movie fan for many years, it began in my childhood. I find that I love romantic comedies the best. I love knowing that the boy and the girl are going to end up happily ever after – and if they can make me laugh along the way all the better.

Here’s a little insight into the movies I love and how I came to love them.

My First Classic Movie Love
  • The Egg & I

This was the first classic movie that I really remember loving. Though to be honest when I re-watched it as an adult I didn’t really get it when I was younger. My fondness for this movie turned me into a lifelong fan of both Claudette Colbert and Fred MacMurray.

I can’t dance, but i sure love to watch
  • Top Hat

I can watch Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dance all night. I love the silliness of this movie, while the dancing gives it such romance.

My Absolute Favorite
  • The Lady Eve

Barbara Stanwyck is so good in this movie and so funny. The first time I watched it, I didn’t understand that Henry Fonda still thinks there are two of them. I can – and do – watch this movie over and over and over.
